Hunterwood Technologies is a world leader in the design, fabrication, and manufacture of forage compactors. Hunterwood has been innovating forage compactors for more than 20 years and has proven experience in mechanical, electrical, automation, and hydraulic design and fabrication.   • Project Coordinator

    Project Coordinator

    We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Hunterwood Operations Team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the business by ensuring that project efficiency and document control processes are accurately maintained and updated. You will also work to increase the organization's efficiency and profitability by reducing warranty related rework and field installation repairs. The successful candidate will have experience with supporting multiple projects, ERP reporting (SAP an asset) and be able to work in a high-volume environment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Build Production Schedules for service projects to forecast and track project deliverables.
    • Maintain Service Tracking Chart and Service Project Design Trees
    • Coordinate with the QC Manager on the selection of the install crew.
    • Coordinate with Service and QC Manager on the electrical and commissioning team’s schedule.
    • Arrange crew travel and accommodations.
    • Build Installation Schedules to forecast and track project installation at client’s site
    • Develop Project Schedules to help in project budgeting, from a cost and resource standpoint, and to use in determining project viability
    • Maintain positive working relationships across departments to ensure all project deliverables are met
    • Ensure project deliverable adheres with client contracts
    • Maintain project documentation for reporting and analytical purposes
    • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with clients, ensuring communication of all pertinent documentation
    • Work with client’s project designate to ensure client project requirements are all met and maintain professional relationship throughout project duration
    • Generate Service Production Orders
    • Liaison with Design Department on behalf of Service Sales to verify drawing packages
    • Assist the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes as required

     

    Qualifications

    • 1 – 3 years’ experience working in a project related role.
    • Working towards PMP, or PMP Designation an asset.
    • Proficient in MS Software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
    • Experience with SAP and SmartSheet, utilizing an ERP or project management software to develop project reports.
    • Manufacturing or engineering industry experience is an asset but not required

  • Parts & Service Account Manager

     

    Parts & Service Account Manager

    Are you looking for a sales position with a company that is loved by its customers? Do you want to contribute to the growth and expansion of an industry leader? We are looking for a Parts and Service Account Manager to service our forage exporting client base. This position would be based at our Cochrane, Alberta location and will report to the VP of Business Development.

    The Parts and Service Account Manager looks after our client’s parts and service needs, which involves both inbound and outbound parts sales efforts. This position is responsible for hitting monthly and annual revenue targets. You will deal directly with customers via telephone, video conferencing and occasionally in person and assist in preparing service contract quotes and completing sales orders for invoicing.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Become an expert in Hunterwood's parts and service offering
    • Balance a large volume of leads through calls and email
    • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements
    • Close sales by building rapport with clients; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
    • Ensure all customers receive prompt, useful information through professional follow-ups
    • Diligently work with tools and processes within the CRM and other software systems
    • Consult with clients to evaluate their current and future parts and service needs
    • Quote and engage in process-driven follow-ups to close sales
    • Process service and parts orders; liaise with order execution teams
    • Comfortable making outbound sales calls

     

    Qualifications

    • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
    • Strong sociability to develop relationships
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence decisions
    • Use of CRM business system tools consistently and effectively for client documentation and activity (Salesforce and SAP experience an asset)
    • Agriculture, biomass, and manufacturing industry experience is an asset but not required

  • Journeyman Welder

     

    Journeyman Welder

    We are looking for a Welder to build and service our forage exporting equipment. This position would be based at our Cochrane, Alberta location and may require some international travel a few times a year.

     

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Reading and Interpreting Drawings
    • Fitting and Tacking
    • Welding to a predetermined standard
    • Maintaining equipment and a clean work area
    • Operating forklifts and other necessary equipment
    • Practice safe work methods- always
    • Quality Control checks on personal and peer work
    • Install welding and assembly in the field (travelling around the world)
    • Repair Welding and Service Projects
    • Assembly of components

     

    Qualifications

    • An Alberta Journeyman's Welder Certificate and/or a Red Seal
    • Ability to maintain a valid passport
