Hunterwood Technologies is a world leader in the design, fabrication, and manufacture of forage compactors. AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

 

PARTS & SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGER, Calgary, Alberta

The Parts and Service Account Manager looks after our client’s parts and service needs. This involves both inbound and outbound parts sales efforts. This position is responsible for hitting monthly and annual revenue targets. This is a frontline position dealing directly with customers via telephone, video conferencing and occasionally in person. This position assists in preparing service contract quotes and completing sales orders for invoicing.

Position Requriements:

  • Become an expert in Hunterwood's parts and service offering

  • Balance a large volume of leads through calls and email

  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements

  • Close sales by building rapport with clients; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts

  • Ensure all customers receive prompt, useful information through professional follow-ups

  • Diligently work with tools and processes within the CRM and other software systems

  • Consult with clients to evaluate their current and future parts and service needs

  • Quote and engage in process-driven follow-ups to close sales

  • Process service and parts orders; liaise with order execution teams

  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls

Skills Required:

  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, and presentation skills
  • Skilled in writing and editing content for both internal and external messaging
  • Previous knowledge of Salesforce an asset
  • Experience with inside and outside sales in the agricultural industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook

Education:

Grade 12 Diploma

US SERVICE TECHNICIAN, Washington State - Kittitas, Grant, Franklin Counties

The US service technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining the Hunterwood Hay Presses and other equipment in the NW USA region, particularly Kittitas, Grant and Franklin Counties. Maintenance will include regularly scheduled servicing as well as emergency and custom work.

Position Requriements:

  • Perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex automated and dynamically controlled hydraulic systems and components.
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and optimization of customer-owned equipment.
  • Provide customer training of the equipment for machine operators and maintenance staff
  • Experience with forage compaction and the US hay export market considered an asset.
  • Be available to work overtime and weekends, if and when required.

Skills Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and fluid power
  • High mechanical aptitude.
  • Good understanding of PLC’s, Ladder Logistics, and control systems
  • Experience with hydraulic/electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Sound understanding of electrical design.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education:

The ideal candidate should possess any of the following educational backgrounds or similar with appropriate experience:

  • Mechanical Engineer, Hydraulic Fluid Power Engineer, Millwright, Mechanic, Electrician
