Education 

College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) 

Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)

Experience 

5 years or more

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct interviews
  • Conduct employee orientations
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Participate in recruiting activities
  • Miscellaneous projects, administer retention plans

 

Specific Skills

Respond to employee questions and complaints; Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies; Oversee the preparation of reports; Oversee development of communication strategies; Oversee the classification and rating of occupations; Manage contracts; Manage training and development strategies; Maintain records and statistics; Establish and implement policies and procedures; Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs; Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures; Resolve conflict situations; Liaise with management and HR consultants; Advise senior management; Oversee the analysis of employee data and information; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Business Equipment and Computer Applications

Additional Skills

Train, direct and motivate staff; Recruit, train and supervise staff; Maintain accurate records.
